Like many of you, I am most comfortable when I am laying down. It seems to be better when I spread the effect of gravity over a broader surface rather than having all the pressure on my feet. Here is the one issue with lying down. I feel so crappy when I lie down for too long. My butt starts burning and my legs get jumpy and needle senstaion. I am also really stiff and sore when I have to get up and go do something or be active. So I figured this out while watching March Madness basketball games. I get up at the end of every quarter and walk around or stand a bit. This helps lessen the pain and stiffness and makes it easier when I get up at the end of the game. I do this a couple of times during movies as well.

I go once a month for a shoulder neck massage. I am the most comfortable for a short time after. Other than that, its when I am stretched out on our sectional with a neck roll and sitting slightly inclined. Oh and eating Oreo's with milk always makes for a good time.

I don't do that well laying down in bed for too long. But stretching out on the sofa with a nice piece of chocolate does wonders! Cindy
