In November 2007, our old forum provider at Aimoo released a new version of their bulletin board. The new release proved to be unstable and we and many other Aimoo users had difficulties posting and even logging in.
We have decided to start a new board. This board is set up right now as temporary and may be deleted (with all it's information) once the original board's problems are worked out. The reason we are not leaving Aimoo all together is because there is an archive of posts and information since 2001.
This new board may turn into our permanent board. So, let's see how it goes and give it a test drive.
What's important is that we have a place to effectively chat with one another again.
Hope to see new members and everyone from the old forums sign up soon.
Robert

Alison,
Are you talking about password/login problems with the Aimoo forum? or here at the Proboards forum?

Robert - On this board - Just says invalid login or password but these are the ones I've used for some time. I wondered if it didn't like the hyphen in my login - some systems don't - but you have an underscore in yours ! I take it you can log in OK? Alison

Afternoon, My MD suggested I join this forum and put out my symptoms and see if they ring a bell for anyone. As of now I am not diagnosed with anything other than a bulge at L5 and annular tear at L4. (thats all 3 mri's in the past have shown) My symptoms have been going on hard core since 2003 after a nasty back spasm. I have chronic right sided radiculopathy- scaitic pain in right foot off and on, this fall have had two epidurals in L5- first one lasted a month, last one lasted two weeks. While the epidural's take away the pain, I still have "electicity" running though my foot- my 2,3 toes will start to twitch "fasciculations" and it feels like I have a vise grip band around the middle of my foot. It gets very tight and when I walk I feel like Im "stumping" along. I have made good progress with my PT which has been going on for 6 months.
The problem is once the epidurals wear off the burning, electic tightness and numbness increases in the right foot and my right QL, right Psoas begins to tighten up all over again. My MD wants me to get checked out by a radiologist who specializes in spinal cord tumors. But in the meantime she thought maybe my symptoms might ring a bell with someone on line. thanks, wendy44

Alison, glad to see you're logged in and on the board again. Thanks for joining in. I hope we'll see several other members from the old forum migrate over here.
Wendy44, there's something definetly wrong that needs further investigation. Those electrical sensations are something many of us feel but that does not necessarily mean you have an SCT. You can FedEx your MRI's to Dr. George Jallo for review. I think he reviews MRI's at no charge and can recommend a specialist in your local area.

Hi all
I tried at least 7 times to log on and finally it accepted my original user name and password from the old forum. It finally let me in.
Hi Wendy. Welcome to the forum. I'd try what Robert suggests, contact Dr. Jallo. I hope you find out what the problem is. I'd suggest seeing a neurologist as opposed to a radiologist. Not sure why he sent you to see one. Anyway, keep us posted with your search. Good luck to you. Paul
