I honestly feel that if it were not for Dr. Steinberg and the team at Stanford I would be in a wheelchair today. His specialty is Cerebrovascular Surgery and Skull Base Surgery, but he took my case in an instant because there was no one else available and I needed surgery ASAP. The second I met Dr. Steinberg he told me I would be fine and that I would walk again. At that scary/crazy time he was able to put me and my family at ease and we were able to put our complete confidence in him.
Stanford also has a wonderful inpatient rehab clinic on site. They had me up and out of there on fore-arm crutches 2 1/2 weeks after surgery.
