Surgery is 16 days away and I have had a new symptom the past few days. History For several months now my right side has been weak with numbness and pain. My left foot has had a little numbness for a bit too. Lesion/tumor in C5 with damage and swelling above and below. Now I have this sensation in my left pelvis/thigh of heat flowing downward. It's like someone is pouring warm to hot water into my thigh from my pelvic area. Any ideas? Anyone else have this? I will call my NS office but I typically don't get a call back for a day. My PCP doesn't have a clue about this stuff.

Hi, not sure what type of tumor you have, but this new sensation in your leg is just another crazy nerve sensation and probably nothing to worry about at this point. you are so close to surgery. Doctors might ask you if you have any new weakness, big changes in bowel or bladder, and severe pain in your neck/upper back or shoulders. These symptoms might be more dire. you are very close to surgery.

I had worsening bladder problems before my surgery and they increased my prednisone to reduce inflammation until surgery. It helped.
